Kids Walking into School

As this year comes quickly to a close, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the support you continuously offer to Resurrection Lutheran School.  Your donations help us to keep tuition costs low so that we may continue to remain a viable option for families of diverse financial backgrounds. The Annual Fund is an essential part of making this tuition goal possible. Additionally, financial gifts pave the way to maintain an environment for our families, students, and teachers that inspires and challenges us to be bold in our faith and wise in our education. With this in mind, we encourage you to join us in unleashing generosity as we seek contributions for our Heart of a Lion Annual Fund.

We’ve just completed a very successful classroom campaign that ran from November 15th through 30th  (Giving Tuesday) where our students were challenged to complete acts of kindness as a way of unleashing the heart of an RLS Lion into our community. We are thrilled to report that our students made kindness a priority with more than 700 acts of kindness recorded in our classroom competition. Families contributed to a coat drive, students found ways to help family and friends – they complimented people, they wrote cards, they held doors for others, they helped parents with cleaning and cooking, and most importantly, they thought daily about other ways to demonstrate kindness!

As we move through the season of Advent, the time of great anticipation, we’d like to challenge YOU to complete an act of kindness and generosity by making a monetary donation. Your donations sustain our school in its mission of providing an outstanding Christ-centered and academically focused education to families in our community. Each week, as you are reminded by the candles of Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy, it is our HOPE that you will remember the JOY in the faces of our students, the PEACE our parents feel having a loving school for their children to attend, and the LOVE our teachers and staff share daily with our students.

Won’t you help us fill the Heart of a Lion Annual Fund by making a contribution today?
